The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting public comment and ideas to improve the accessibility, aesthetics, and overall experience for patrons visiting Wheatley Area Arena over the short and medium-term.
The public may propose any project aimed at improving the accessibility, aesthetics, or overall experience for those visiting or using the facility, Municipal officials say.
“Administration will consider proposed projects against available funding sources as they may become available in the future,” Municipal officials said in a media release.
“Members of the public may submit their idea at www.letstalkchatham-kent.ca before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Submissions will be included in a future report to Municipal Council.”
Wheatley Area Arena is located at 196 Erie St North in Wheatley.
The facility hosts several sports clubs, special events, and serves as gathering space for community groups and area residents.
