Mrs. Josephine Cecelia “Josie” Abrams a long time resident of Port Lambton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 14th, 2023 at the age of 74 years.
She was a daughter of the late Don and Thelma (Irwin) Gauthier.
Beloved and cherished wife of Brian Abrams.
Loving mother of Beth (Dave) Larabee and Heather (Brian) Bernardo.
Dear grandmother of Michael, Shawn (Amanda), Chris (Ashley), Emily (Bryce) and great grandmother of Ava, Alyvia, Michael and Mason.
Kind sister of Leonard (Clair) Gauthier, Charlotte (Darrell) Charron, Shelia (Dan) Salisbury, Shannon (Carrie) Gauthier, Becky (Tony) Wagner and sister-in-law of Marg Abrams.
Predeceased by her brother-in-law Lee Abrams.
Josie will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Her passion was her love for the lord, her family, gardening and she also liked to cook and bake; mostly known for her chocolate chip cookies.
She will be resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 1-3pm. A celebration service will follow at 3pm at the funeral home. Cremation will then take place.
As an expression of sympathy donations to the Pet Animal Wildlife Rescue, the A.L.S. Society or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada may be left at the funeral home.
