Learning, Earning, and LivingCK Career Expo and Job Fair being held in the fall

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s Community Attraction & Promotion team is hosting the upcoming Learning, Earning, and LivingCK Career Expo and Job Fair to highlight employment opportunities and career pathways for in-demand jobs and growth sectors in Chatham-Kent.

The Career Fair and Job Expo will be held on October 18 to 19, 2023 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre.

This event is free to attend for students and jobseekers.

Registration is now open for Chatham-Kent employers to secure a booth during this two-day event.

Employers will have an opportunity to engage local grade 7 – 12 students with hands-on, experiential booths to learn about career pathways in their industry during the career expo on both days.

On the evening of October 18, employers will also meet local and external jobseekers who are exploring employment opportunities in Chatham-Kent.

“We are pleased to work with employers across key sectors, local educational institutions, and community partners to help strengthen Chatham-Kent’s labour market. Through the Learning, Earning, and LivingCK Career Expo and Job Fair, local students learn about potential career opportunities in Chatham-Kent to encourage them stay local for work, or bring their skills baCK to CK when they graduate. We are also promoting the event to both internal and external jobseekers to help ensure employers’ meet a range of talent to fill their immediate workforce needs,” said Victoria Bodnar, Manager, Community Attraction & Promotion, in a media release.
