Mr. Kim Roy Chauvin, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the age of 69.
Kim was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Roy and Marie (Reek) Chauvin.
Beloved husband of Marlene (Nottley) Chauvin.
Loving father of Erin Chauvin and Heather (Chris) Escobar.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Hunter, Alyssa, Ava and Cruz.
Kind brother and brother-in-law of Karen Janssens (Dave Clute), Paul (Cindy) Nottley, Beverley (Brian) Murphy, Barry Nottley, Darlene Nottley and Rick Janssens.
Predeceased by his brother Curtis (2013) and his brother-in-law Michael Nottley.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Kim loved sports especially baseball and hockey and was a fan of the Montreal Canadians and New York Yankees. He would always take great pleasure in jabbing his “Brother Dave” about a win. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed Myrtle Beach and the Caribbean Courses and always collected a shirt from all the different courses he played. He liked fishing and there was over 20 happy summers at Klondyke Park in Grand Bend. He would always love to sit and enjoy a good Cigar.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Monday, May 29, 2023 for visitation and a Celebration of his life from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
