The River of Lights committee, formed by the Downtown Wallaceburg BIA, is a group of community volunteers working to design and fundraise for new holiday decorations in the downtown core of Wallaceburg.
“The theme for the decorations is ‘River of Lights’ and we are excited to light up downtown Wallaceburg and our waterfront over the next five years,” BIA officials said in a media release.
Re:find Charity Thrift Shoppe recently kicked off their fundraising efforts by donating all their proceeds on May 26 and 27 to the campaign.
The group’s next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 1 at 6 p.m.
