Weaver re-elected as Ontario Association of Police Services Boards chair

The Ontario Association of Police Services Boards (OAPSB) officials have announced that Patrick Weaver has been re-elected to his fourth term as Chair of the Board at the organization’s Annual General Meeting in Niagara Falls.

The organization says Weaver’s exceptional leadership and dedication to the advancement of police oversight in Ontario have been instrumental in fostering collaboration and enhancing public safety throughout our province.

Under Mr. Weaver’s leadership, the OAPSB has achieved significant milestones, paving the way for innovation and excellence within the policing community.

His unwavering commitment to transparent governance and community engagement has garnered widespread admiration and respect from both his colleagues and the public, OAPSB officials added.

“Patrick Weaver’s unwavering dedication to public safety and his deep understanding of the complexities of law enforcement have proven invaluable to the Chatham-Kent Police Services Board and our community,” stated Chatham-Kent Chief of Police, Gary Conn, in a media release.
