Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:09 p.m., police began a robbery investigation in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned the woman stole a large amount of money from the victim while threatening them with a firearm.
Police attended the woman’s residence, set up containment and detained her without incident.
A replica handgun was seized, and the money was recovered.
The 37-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with dangerous weapons and robbery.
She was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of August 21, 2023.
