Woman arrested on outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 7:13 a.m., police were contacted by Walpole Island Police advising they had the woman in custody who the Chatham-Kent Police Service wanted.
The woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to a break-and-enter investigation reported on January 1, 2021, in Wallaceburg.
The 39-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Man arrested on DNA warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 7:01 p.m., police located the man walking on Talbot Street West in Blenheim.
The officer recognized the man from previous encounters.
The officer confirmed the man was wanted on a DNA Warrant, and he was arrested.
The 38-year-old Blenheim man was transported to police headquarters.
The warrant was satisfied, and the man was released.
