An early morning earthquake, northeast of Cleveland, Ohio, was felt in parts of Ontario on Monday, including near Chatham.
Earthquakes Canada officials say a 4.3 magnitude was registered at 2:43 a.m. on August 28, 2023 near Madison, Ohio.
A total of 118 reports were received by residents in Canada, who say they felt the tremor.
One of the reports, registered from just outside of the city of Chatham, was logged in as a level three intensity, which Earthquakes Canada officials describes as light shaking and no damage.
Other reports were registered near Windsor, London, Woodstock, Hamilton and St. Catharines.
