On, Thursday, September 14, 2023, Ruby Violet Parker was reunited with her loving husband Robert (2004) and her son Patrick (2022) at the age of 95.
Ruby’s memory will be cherished by her children Linda (Gord), Mike (Theresa), Debbie (Gary) as well as her grandchildren Wayne (Shona), Robert (Alison), Brian, Heather (Marc), Paul, Tim (Kaylea Bell), Becky (Dan), Bonnie (Brent), Amanada (Fil).
Ruby was the proud great grandmother of 18. Daughter of the late William and Gladys Holtby and dear sister of Howard Holtby, Laughlin Holtby and Jean Rickwood.
Remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Many will remember Ruby from her years working in the Sterilization Room at Sydenham Hospital and her time volunteering at Sydenham Residence.
She was a member of the Grace Congregational Christian Church in Dover Centre and was heavily involved in their quilting circle.
Ruby’s family will lay her to rest at Riverview Cemetery during a private family service under the care of the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
