With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Shawn Dana Ristau on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the age of 60.
He will always be loved and remembered by his loving wife Amy and his children Baron Ristau, Rayce Ristau, Kyla Kahosed-Trebics, Rocky Kahosed-Trebics and Nicholas Kahosed-Trebics.
Cherished papa of Collyn Bergeson.
Son of Jackie and the late Donald (2014) Ristau and son-in-law of Bela and Debra Trebics.
Dear brother to Kirk Ristau, Glynis (Terry) Babbey, Candace (Jim) DeHoey and the late Thane Ristau (2020) (Laura).
Shawn was a long-time employee of M.S.S.C in Chatham.
Family and Friends are invited for a wake to Celebrate Shawn’s life at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 2-4pm.
Shawn will be laid to rest during a private family ceremony at Riverview Cemetery on Monday.
