Drug trafficking charges laid in Lambton County

OPP officials allege: On October 15, 2023, members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) arrested two individuals during a traffic stop following a drug trafficking investigation that began in September 2023.

A search, incident to arrest, yielded a quantity of suspected cocaine valued at over $37,000.

A 20-year-old Sarnia man and a 22-year-old Sarnia man have been charged with the following:

– Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The 20-year-old faces an additional charge of Failure to comply with release order.

The accused were held in custody following a bail hearing on October 15, 2023.
