Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Thursday November 16, at approximately 12:50 a.m., police responded to a call regarding two suspicious parties in the area Richmond Street and Bloomfield Road in Chatham.
Police arrived and located the parties; through investigation, police learned one of the two men was previously released on July 22, 2022 on a condition to be inside his residence between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
The 44-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with Judicial Release.
He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Police also learned the second man was previously released on a probation order on October 18, 2022 on a condition to be inside his residence between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Additionally the male entered in a form 10 undertaking on June 30, 2023, for failing to comply with his probation order curfew condition to be inside his residence between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The 38-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with Probation order and Fail to comply with Undertaking.
The accused was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
