Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On October 16, 2023, the man failed to appear for a scheduled court date concerning various investigations spanning from February 2023 to November 2023, including assault, breach of probation, and assaulting peace officers.
A bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
On November 23, 2023, at 9:38 p.m., officers located the man on Wellington Street West in Chatham and confirmed he was wanted.
The 43-year-old Chatham-Kent man currently faces assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with a probation order, assault with intent to resist arrest, mischief and two counts of failing to attend court.
He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
