Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 6:17 a.m., police responded to an address on Tecumseh Road in Chatham.
Police learned that at approximately 6:15 a.m., an employee observed the man engaging in inappropriate sexual behaviour and smoking suspected methamphetamine.
Officers arrived on the scene and arrested the man.
The 49-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with an indecent act.
He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
