The Salvation Army in Chatham-Kent has eclipsed the $500,000 target for their 2023 Christmas Campaign.
“We made it,” Salvation Army officials say.
“We have met the goal of $500,000 for our Christmas Campaign. As of January 2 we have reached $500,638.41. This is down by $43,323.10 from 2022. We received a total of $338,184.91 in donations that were either hand delivered, mailed in, or online. This is down by $60,384.45 from last year. We received a total of $162,453.50 in Kettles, this includes TipTap, cash or cheques that were put in kettles at various locations throughout CK. This is up by $17,061.35 from last year.”
Salvation Army officials added: “Thank you to all of our donors and volunteers, we couldn’t do what we do without you.”
