Mr. David Bruce Moffat, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, Chatham, at the age of 55.
David was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Donald and Lorraine (Colwell) Moffat.
Beloved husband of Christina (Pennell) Moffat.
Loving father of Brandon (Jeannie) Francis and Mikayla Mckenzie.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Weston, Roland and Quinston.
Kind brother of Jody Moffat and Brian (Virginia) Moffat.
Also sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Talia, Miranda, Inxe, Leah and Jenica.
Special fur Dad of Jaxon, who will miss him very much.
Son-in-law of Terry & Marie Pennell, brother-in-law of Jerry (Tammy) Pennell and grandson-in-law of Alma, all of Newfoundland.
Dave will be remembered fondly and with love by many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.
The late David Moffat rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring with a date to be announced later.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
