Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:08 p.m., an officer on general patrol located the man on Wellington Street West in Chatham.
The officer confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
The 39-year-old Chatham man was released with a new court date of February 26, 2024.
He faces the following charges: mischief, aggravated assault and failing to comply with an appearance notice.
