Sarnia Police Service officials allege: The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) has an active investigation occurring at 1626 London Line in Sarnia.
At 5:50 a.m., police were called to a report of home invasion at that address.
Initial information is that a residence (motel room) was entered by force and the occupants held against their will for a short period.
Police are still actively involved in the search for the suspects and evidence, with a heavy police presence in this area.
Members of the public are asked to avoid this area.
This investigation is still unfolding and further information will be forthcoming when available.
Investigators are reviewing video evidence and suspect descriptions will be released as soon as they are available.
At this time, there are no known injuries to the victims.
Police expect to be present in the area for several hours.
