Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 10:30 p.m. on January 28 , 2024, members of the Chatham Kent Police Service responded to a 911 call on McNaughton Ave West Chatham for shots being fired.
Officers attended and determined an adult male party had discharged a firearm and then fled from the property.
Through investigation officers located the suspect, he was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.
The accused, a 22-year-old man, has been held in custody and scheduled to make a court appearance later this date speaking to multiple firearm related charges.
No one was injured and this incident was isolated to the address.
