Warrants executed in Wallaceburg and Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday morning, at approximately 6 a.m, members of the Chatham- Kent Police Service attended a business on Richmond Street in Chatham, in response to an alarm.

Upon arrival, officers observed a UHaul with two females inside, one having an outstanding surety relief warrant.

The Chatham woman was arrested; she was then transported to Headquarters and held for bail. 

The woman appeared before a judge, and was remanded into custody pending a future hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday afternoon, at around 1 p.m, an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a woman in the area of Albert Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply twice and assault.

The 49-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant, and shortly after released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday afternoon, at around 1:20 p.m, an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a man in the area of Wallace Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply and impaired operation.

The 44-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, and shortly after released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, at around 4:45 p.m, officers attended the Gray Street area in Chatham for a driving complaint.

The 31-year-old Chatham woman was located, and was known to police for having outstanding warrants.

She was arrested for the warrants, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, and later released from custody with a future court date to answer to the charges.
