Fentanyl and cocaine seized after drug busts in Corunna and Sarnia

Lambton OPP officials allege: On February 9, 2024, members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) executed search warrants at two locations with the assistance of Middlesex OPP CSCU, Essex OPP CSCU, Sarnia Police Service (SPS) VICE unit and SPS Emergency Response Team (ERT), following a drug trafficking investigation.

The two warrants were executed at residences on Cameron Street in Corunna and Ryan Street in Sarnia.

A quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine were located, along with other drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash, with an estimated value of over $21,800.

A 33-year-old Corunna man has been charged with the following:

– Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (two counts).

A 30-year-old Toronto man has been charged with the following:

– Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A 32-year-old Toronto man has been charged with the following:

– Possession of a schedule 1 substance and,

– Failure to comply with probation order.

The accused have been released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Sarnia at a later date.
