It was a gold medal finish for the U9 MD1 Lakers at the Boston Pizza U9MD Tournament in St. Thomas over the weekend.
The team went undefeated in the round robin and faced their Shamrock Hockey League rivals South Kent Minor Hockey Association for the second time in the finals this year.
