Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:07 p.m., police located the man on Regent Street in Blenheim.
Officers confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant as a result of a theft investigation.
The 38-year-old Blenheim man was charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date.
