Special weather statement continues

A special weather statement remains in effect across Chatham-Kent, as significant rainfall continues today.

Environment Canada officials say hazards, include: Total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm.

Forecasters say the rain will ease this afternoon or evening in most parts of the Province and the rain will ease this morning for southwestern Ontario.

“Rain is expected to taper off this afternoon or evening,” forecasters say.

“A few flurries will develop tonight as colder air moves into the region.”
