The Bahai Community of Chatham Kent extends an open invitation to the public for the celebration of Bahai New Year, also known as Naw Ruz.
The event will take place at the Active Lifestyle Centre located at 20 Merritt Avenue in Chatham, on Saturday, March 23, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees can expect a program highlighting the significance of Naw Ruz, followed by a performance by a local artist singing “God is watching us.”
A diverse potluck dinner featuring various cultural dishes will be served, accompanied by games, desserts, ticket draws with prizes, and music for dancing.
The event aims to bring together individuals from all walks of life to commemorate this joyous occasion.
All members of the community are warmly welcomed to join in the festivities.
