Bail violations and warrants executed across Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:30 a.m., police located the man on Grand Avenue West in Chatham and arrested him.

The man was wanted on an Order for Committal.

The 34-year-old Windsor man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.

As a result, the man was held in custody with a future video court appearance on April 3, 2024.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:19 p.m., while on general patrol, an officer observed the man and the woman arguing on Prince Street North in Chatham.

Through investigation officers learned the woman was bound by a probation order prohibiting communication with the man.

The man was aware of this condition and was participating in the contact.

The 35-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order. She was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of April 29, 2024.

The 41-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order -facilitate a breach.

He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of April 22, 2024.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 6:45 p.m., police located the woman on Grand Avenue West in Chatham and arrested her.

The woman was wanted on outstanding warrants related to a theft investigation and a surety sign off.

The 29-year-old Chatham woman was transported to police headquarters where she was held pending a bail hearing.

She is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a release order, failing to comply with an undertaking, driving while suspended, assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, six counts of possession of stolen property and seven counts of theft.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 28, 2024, at 12:52 a.m., police began a bail violation investigation in Raleigh Township.

Upon police arrival, the man answered the door. Officers confirmed he was bound by a release order and a probation order prohibiting him from contacting or associating with the resident of that address.

The 52-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with three counts of failing to comply with a probation order and three counts of failing to comply with a release order. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing
