I thought perhaps Sydenham Current may like photos I took of the bagpiper entertaining residents at Wallaceburg Retirement Residence on Good Friday.
The Piper was visiting family there and delighted everyone with a few jigs and reels on the bagpipes Friday morning.
My mother, Jane O’Meara (in photo), was pleased to hear this talented young man. As were the 30+ others who gathered and gave appreciative applause.
The Piper shared he recently played the bagpipes at PM Brian Mulroney’s funeral.
