Domestic violence investigation in St. Clair Township leads to charges

OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Lambton County, has charged an individual following an intimate partner violence investigation.

On April 21, 2024, at 7:24 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in St. Clair Township, for the report of a disturbance.

As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old of Lambton County, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

– Assault Causing Bodily Harm – Spousal

– Mischief Under $ 5,000

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.
