$140,000 worth of cable stolen in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: In the early morning of Monday, April 29, 2024, officers were checking the area of Borrowman Street in Chatham for a 911 call they had received.

While in the area, they discovered a break and enter had occurred.

Unknown suspects, possibly in two vehicles, stole $140,000 in primary cable approximate weight of 5000kg.

This investigation is ongoing.
