Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May , 2024 at approximately 1:30 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute in the area of Forhan Street in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, police determined that a man and woman had engaged in a verbal argument which eventually escalated to the point of turning physical.
The woman was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with assault for choking the man, who had sustained visible injuries as result of the altercation.
The 40-year-old Wallaceburg woman was transported to police headquarters where she was later released on an Undertaking with conditions and a future court date.
