Traffic complaint in Blenheim leads to impaired driving charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 4:41 p.m., officers responded to Middle Line and Lagoon Road in Blenheim for a traffic complaint.

Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

The officer believed the woman to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and attempted to conduct a roadside test.

When the woman failed to provide a sample of breath into the screening device, she was arrested.

The 66-year-old woman was charged with impaired driving.

She was released with a future court date.
