OPP officials allege: Members of the Lambton detachment of the Ontario Provincial police responded to a sudden death in Watford.
On May 9, 2024 at approximately 9:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a farm accident on Churchill Line in which an individual received life-threatening injuries.
A 17-year-old individual from Watford was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The death is not considered suspicious.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team, the Forensic Identification Unit, the Lambton Crime Unit and Victim Services of Sarnia-Lambton attended the scene.
The Ministry of Labour is continuing the investigation.
