Theft charges laid after a motorcycle was stolen in Harwich Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 8, 2024, a motorcycle was reported stolen from River Line in Harwich Township.

On May 9, 2024, at 9:22 a.m., the bike was recovered from a McNaughton Avenue address in Chatham and the man arrested.

The 41-year-old Chatham-Kent man was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.

He is currently facing the following charges: theft over $5000, theft of motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.
