‘Coffee with a Cop’ taking place in Petrolia on May 15

Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are formall inviting members of the public to join them for casual conversation surrounding policing in Lambton County.

This semi-impromptu event is intended to create some open discussion on crime prevention, road safety and anything related to policing in Lambton County.

This event is also in correlation with Police Week which will be held from May 12-18, 2024.

This year’s provincial theme is “Join Policing: Keep Ontario Safe.”

“We will have members of the OPP in attendance to answer questions regarding regular member recruitment, Special Constable Positions, Auxiliary Programs and OPP Cadet positions within the OPP,” police officials say.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday May 15, 2024, at Coffee Lodge located at 4119 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We are hoping that the residence of Lambton County and beyond will take us up on our offer and share a cup of fresh brew with us,” police officials say.
