He loved to fish, bowl, play euchre, dance or just listen to some Hank Williams while he was hooking a rug or working leather.

Friends and family are invited to come celebrate his life at the Wilkesport Community Centre on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11am until 3pm with words of remembrance at 1pm.

Donations in his memory to Wilkesport United Church, St. Joseph’s Hospice or the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left with the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231). George will be laid to rest at Duthill Cemetery during a private family ceremony. Cherished stories and tributes may be left for the family at www.CavanaghFuneralHome.ca.
