Theft investigation in Chatham leads to failing to attend court charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:38 p.m., police responded to Murray Street in Chatham for a theft investigation.

Officers attended and located the woman.

The 49-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing.

She is currently facing the following charges: theft, possession of stolen property, failing to attend court, obstructing police, impaired driving, assault, driving while suspended and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
