Disturbance in Chatham leads to failing to attend court charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 4:03 p.m., police responded to Grand Avenue West in Chatham for a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The 39-year-old Chatham Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.

He is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a probation order, failing to comply with an appearance notice and failing to attend court.
