Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:30 p.m., police responded to a gas station on Grand Avenue West in Chatham for a mischief investigation.
Information was received that a man smashed a window at the business with a rock.
Officers arrived on scene and arrested the man.
The 22-year-old Chatham Kent man was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He was charged with mischief.
