Larry VanRuymbeke

Larry Joseph VanRuymbeke of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the age of 63.

Larry is the son of the late George and Annie (Marcus) VanRuymbeke.

Proud father of Tara (Greg) Stapleton and Tanya (Greg) Marcolin raised together with their mother Carol VanRuymbeke.

Loving Papa of Carter, Kyla, Blake and Tyler.

Dear brother of Deb (John) Mann, the late Ric VanRuymbeke (surviving spouse, Yvonne), and the late Marshal VanRuymbeke (surviving spouse, Zenia).

Cherished nephew of Ron and MaryLou Marcus.

Larry will be especially missed by his girlfriend, Karen Wilson.

Larry enjoyed visiting, fishing, hunting, playing cards and traveling throughout his life.

He will be remembered for his love for his family, strength and always having a friendly smile.

Larry was loved by many family members and friends.

Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 4 – 7 pm on Monday.

The celebration of Larry’s life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 11 at 11 am.

A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection and burial in Riverview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
