Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:01 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police notified the Chatham Kent Police Service they had a woman in custody that was wanted on a warrant held by CKPS.
The woman was wanted in relation to a June 9, 2024, investigation in Wallaceburg.
The 25-year-old Walpole Island woman was transported to police headquarters, where she was released with conditions and a future court date of July 15, 2024.
She is currently facing the following charges: assault causing bodily harm.
