The Thamesville Threshing Festival is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever.
Mark your calendars for June 21-22, 2024, as the town kicks off a weekend of family-friendly festivities, live entertainment, and classic rural charm.
Highlights of the festival:
– Parade (Friday, June 21, 6:30 PM):The festival starts with a colorful parade winding through the streets of Thamesville. Join in to celebrate the community spirit and heritage.
– Midway, Food Trucks, and Vendors: From thrilling rides to mouthwatering treats, the festival grounds will be buzzing with excitement all weekend. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in delicious food and explore unique vendor stalls.
– Beer Garden: Quench your thirst at our lively beer garden located at the tennis courts and pavilion. Raise your glass to good times, great company, and live music!
– Live Entertainment: The pavilion stage will come alive with talented bands. Whether you’re a country music fan or prefer rock ‘n’ roll, there’s something for everyone. Courtney Wells Band plays Friday 9pm-1am, Saturday Respect Revolution kicks things off at 11am, Nick Hedden Trio take the stage at noon, Tommy Gresty plays at 3pm, and Black River Remedy wrap the weekend up Saturday from 9pm to 1am!
Signature events, include:
– Baby Show: Adorable little ones take the spotlight in our baby show. Who will be crowned the cutest baby in Thamesville?
– Midway: Whirlwind of excitement with Family Time Amusement Inc. – come out for midway fun, memories, and thrilling rides. Advance all day ride tickets are now available for purchase at Thamesville Home Hardware for $25 cash or debit. Last day to purchase $25 all day ride tickets is Thursday June 20, 2024. At the event, you can purchase an all day ride pass for $35.
– Frog Jumping Contest: Ribbit your way to victory! Cheer on the leaping amphibians as they compete for the title.
– Pony Rides: Saddle up and enjoy a gentle ride on our friendly ponies.
– Meat Draw: Feeling lucky? Try your luck at winning some delicious cuts of meat.
– Junior Farmers Olympics: Kids can test their skills in fun farm-themed challenges.
– Pro Wrestling: High-flying action awaits as wrestlers grapple in the ring.
– Seniors Farmers Olympics: Our seasoned farmers prove they’ve still got what it takes!
– Fireworks Spectacular: As the sun sets on Saturday night, the sky will light up with a dazzling fireworks display.
