Whimsies Paddle Rental is now open in downtown Wallaceburg for the 2024 season.
Whimsies is celebrating their opening on Saturday, June 22, 2024 with half price rentals, great door prizes and Beef Meatz Bun on site selling their food.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Whimsies and their fleet of kayaks, this is the perfect opportunity.
“Our mission at Whimsies is to help people discover, or rediscover Wallaceburg’s unique waterways, history, and beautiful downtown,” Downtown Wallaceburg BIA officials said in a media release.
“The calm nature of the Sydenham and the waterways surrounding Wallaceburg make it the perfect place to paddle.”
The Whimsies rental office is located in Civic Square Park at 779 Dufferin Avenue in downtown Wallaceburg.
There are paddle boards, as well as single and double kayaks available for rent.
“We also have a dock and kayak launcher to make it easy for paddlers of all experience levels,” BIA officials added.
Whimsies is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can book your kayak right through their website: Kayak Rentals – Downtown Wallaceburg BIA
