Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:10 a.m., police located the man on Young Street in Tilbury.
The officer confirmed the man was wanted for a June 10, 2024, shoplifting investigation in Tilbury.
The 37-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of July 22, 2024.
He has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
