Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 2:33 a.m. on Saturday morning a 30-year-old Chatham man was engaged in an altercation with his female partner resulting in the man punching and choking her.
The male was located by police and subsequent to police investigation was arrested for assault, assault cause bodily harm, mischief and utter threats.
The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held for a bail hearing.
