Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 4:07 a.m. on Saturday morning the Chatham-Kent Police received a call for service in relation to a possible impaired driver.
The vehicle in question and its 20-year-old male driver were located by police on Croydon Street and the driver initially failed to stop when directed.
Shortly afterward the male driver was stopped by police and arrested for impaired operation of a conveyance.
While at headquarters, the male driver refused to provide a sample of his breath when directed and therefore was charged additionally with refusal.
The male was later released with a future court date.
