Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:38 a.m., police located the man on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Officers confirmed the man was wanted on several outstanding warrants for breach of probation and failing to attend court in relation to a March 2023 break-and-enter investigation in Chatham.
The 36-year-old Chatham Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He faced the following charges: break-and-enter, failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of failing to attend court.
As a result, the man was remanded into custody, and transported to Southwest Regional Detention Centre until his next court appearance on July 5, 2024.
