Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A staff member at a local business requested a man to leave their store.
The man took offence to this request and assaulted the staff member.
The man was located walking away from the store and placed under arrest.
A 37-year-old Chatham man was charged with assault and released with a future court date of August 12, 2024.
