Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:09 a.m., the man attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, and turned himself in to the police. The man was wanted for failing to make a scheduled court appearance in relation to several shoplifting investigations. The 27-year-old Chatham man was released with a future court date of August 19, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: public intoxication, two counts of failing to comply with a release order, four counts of possession of stolen property and four counts of theft.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:20 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police – Middlesex contacted the Chatham-Kent Police advising they had the man in custody, who was wanted on a CKPS warrant. The man was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to impaired driving charges. The 44-year-old Wardsville man was released with conditions and a future court date of August 19, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: impaired driving and having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:51 p.m., police located the man behind a business on Keil Drive South in Chatham. Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to make a scheduled court appearance in relation to a bail violation and theft investigation. The 45-year-old Chatham-Kent man was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He faced the following charges: obstruct the police, two counts of failing to comply with a release order and two counts of theft. As a result of the bailing hearing, he was remanded into custody and transported to Southwest Regional Detention Centre. His next court appearance is July 22, 2024.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 17, 2024, at 12:13 a.m., police located the woman on Grand Avenue East in Chatham. The woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a probation violation investigation. The 44-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was released with conditions and a future court date of August 12, 2024.
