OPP officials allege: Proactive patrols by an officer led to an individual being charged for driving while impaired.
On July 13, 2024, at approximately 11:54 p.m., a member of Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Mandaumin Road, St. Clair Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old man from Blandford-Blenheim Township, was charged with the following:
– Operation while Impaired- alcohol and drugs
– Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 26, 2024, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.
